High Above We Raise You Kalkara

Assoċjazzjoni Wirt il-Kalkara is a voluntary organization with the primary purpose of serving as a platform for initiatives aimed at further understanding of the village of Kalkara and implementation of projects aimed for the community.

The Assoċjazzjoni Wirt il-Kalkara was born in 2017 and is an autonomous voluntary organization, it is not set up for profit making. Some of its objectives include:

a. The protection and enhancement of social, cultural, artistic, architectural, religious and traditional identity of Kalkara and by bringing forward any knowledge locally, nationally and even internationally through different methods.

b. Activities aimed to the public for educational purpose.

c. Management and financing of the upgrading projects of the public areas and public buildings and structures in Kalkara, such projects iclude new initiatives and  renovation of the existent.
