Throughout this year, with the help of Assoċjazzjoni Wirt il-Kalkara, the Kalkara Capuchin Friars implemented an educational project within the catechism classes held at the Kalkara Capuchin Friary complex.
To support a more interactive learning experience, monitors have been installed in five catechism classrooms. These include accessories such as HDMI cables and wall-mount brackets, enabling the use of interactive video clips. This approach is particularly beneficial for children and other users who may find it challenging to process auditory or abstract information.
Additionally, whiteboards have been installed in five catechism classrooms. These tools facilitate clear and effective communication, encourage active participation, and support collaboration. These help users to visualise concepts and thereby improving overall understanding.
A projector has also been procured to be installed in the Capuchin Friary Hall. This will ensure that visual content can be displayed on a larger scale, making it clearly visible to large audiences. It is intended to enhance engagement during conferences, seminars, workshops, and performances through dynamic and visually appealing presentations.
This project has being carried out by Assoċjazzjoni Wirt il-Kalkara in collaboration with the Kalkara Capuchin Friars and is co-financed by European Union funds under the LEADER 2014 – 2020 program.
